Founded in 1862, John Hancock Life Insurance Company has been providing private capital financing solutions to U.S. middle market companies for decades. In 2001 the Hancock Capital Management team was established to spearhead these activities. Today HCM, a wholly-owned subsidiary of John Hancock, manages over $4.5 billion in capital for John Hancock and its partners.
HCM has sponsored five third-party funds to invest alongside John Hancock in Private Debt transactions.
